On one aspect of Scythyan dynastic history
Excavation of Scythian elite burial mound nearby Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine) allows addressing to some important aspects of Scythian dynastic history of the second half – the end of the 5th century BC. According to the version of the authors of proposed article, 25-30 years old noble man buried in this barrow might be identified as Oricus, i.e. the son of Scythian king Ariapith and younger stepbrother of notorious king Scylas, about whom Herodotus is reported.
