From the comprehensive works of Dora Gabe for children, the study abstracts a poetic paradigm: mischievousness – appeasement – humbleness. This is not an obvious, unconditional analytical approach but is one of the possible approaches which has chosen to focus on the images of the child’s soul. The study aims to defend the thesis that in the poetic mind of Dora Gabe the child has an optimistic view of life and that the child is constructive because he/she knows the pleasure of freedom.

The authors present the results of a survey revealing the specificity of public claims regarding compulsory preschool education in the institution of kindergarten and specifically - the compulsory inclusion of 4-year-olds in it. Agreements and disagreements, polar opinions and alternative proposals for upbringing and educating the preschool child are an indicator of the lack of sustainable and irrefutable "evidence" of the importance of "compulsory" preschool education, as well as of the qualities of the socio-pedagogical environment in the children group and kindergarten. The paper is the second part of the authors' research on issues related to compulsory preschool education for children.

We live in a society where children are exposed to many temptations, many dangers such as drugs, bullying, alcohol, cigarettes, cyber bullying, violence and it is very difficult to find a method to help them understand that all these can destroy them permanently and, to the same extent, understand that they must not follow this path. Moral stories can have this role of awareness, whether they are told by parents or educators, but it is extremely important to find out if parents use them in their relationships with children. This study is a part of a bigger study (Monica Turturean, 2016, 2018) which started in 2016 and its’ purpose is discovering the role of the moral story for different people with different needs in order to use this results in educational activity but not only.

The transformative learning ideas focus the educational process on the maximum development of a person’s abilities, the creation of a powerful motivation for self-development. In this process, a significant role is played by not so much the ability to acquire new knowledge, as the ability to comprehend and rethink previously acquired knowledge and skills critically. Transformation immanently reflects the learning essence, which is realized in a natural, arbitrary way and is based on a person’s intellectual abilities, physiological characteristics and mental inclinations. The learning result is to present not only the world to a person, but also a person to the world. In the educational process, a person overcomes his own essential limitation, opens new horizons of his existence. Educational activity appears as a system of flexible and dynamically cognitive connections with the socio-cultural context oriented to the advanced learning strategy. The learning becomes a process of a person’s self-knowledge, self-creation, self-construction while participating in the educational interaction and social environment.

This article discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the asynchronous and synchronous forms of communication and knowledge acquisition in distance learning in higher education. The importance of the specific topic is dictated by the need to acquire the understanding that the distinction between the two forms of education is not based on quality, but rather clarifies the technological circumstances in which the process of teaching takes place. Manifesting the superiority of only one of the forms, and thus limiting the educational process to this one form, would be detrimental to the students. Arguments are given as to why online lectures, which represent the synchronous form, cannot and should not be the only favorite, which is the trend and bias that is currently observed. In addition to some determining factors for deciding on the appropriate form of education for the purpose, newer studies based on environmental and motivational factors are also indicated, in which we find sufficiently valid prerequisites and statistically significant findings for the use of both forms - conscious, effective, logical and methodically justified.

Directed motor activity can affect the anthropological status of children more effectively than unstructured and free activities. The paper examines the impact of two three – month programs on the transformation of the anthropological status of male children aged 6. A statistically significant difference was confirmed in all tested variables (running 20m, backwards polygon, hand tapping, sitting forward lean, long jump, sit up, hand plank) between the initial and final measurements. The outdoor polygon led to greater positive changes in the motor status of preschool children than shaping exercises with elements of games. It is necessary to further investigate the optimal relationship between these two types of directed exercises.

Over the last decade, in terms of the learning process, methodologists and educators have been actively looking for a variety of means to motivate students' cognitive activity. This is related to the development and application in teaching practice of new approaches and didactic systems. This article examines the possibility of increasing the level of acquisition of mathematical knowledge by first grade students by applying the technique of “independent data collection” in the learning process. The knowledge of first grade students who have mastered the curriculum in mathematics with the help of independent research is diagnosed, establishing the effect of this activity on the level of mathematical knowledge.

The paper considers media and digital education as a prerequisite for adopting the new trends in education and adjustment to the needs and specifics of the digital society of the 21st century. It launches the idea to start teaching children from preschool when they have already interacted purposefully with various media products. Emphasis is on understanding digital and media literacy beyond the technical ability of children to handle media products, which in itself is important but insufficient in the set of knowledge and skills needed to understand, master, and participate in the vast and ever-changing media environment.

At present, the problem of storing large data sets as a source of artificial intelligence acquires a geopolitical and strategic character. The most well-known and used type of databases so far are the relational (SQL databases) and nonrelational (NoSQL databases. The both approaches have some principle problems, which are described below. That publication presents two original approaches to overcoming some of these shortcomings. First one is Object-oriented model for storing data in a relational database. The second is Storage of non-relational data in a relational database according to previously freely created by the user models. Presented models were used as base for software development of more than ten middle and large size national and European scientific and industrial projects.
