e need to segregate the true historic personality of Vasil Levski in his undisputed role and pivotal mission of Bulgarian national hero, from the mythical images created by the idiosyncratic viewpoints in different sociopolitical layers of time. The text duly justifies the need to rediscover the real personality of the Bulgarian Apostle of Freedom. The academic study follows the ideological transition of Vasil Levski from conservative nationalism, towards the liberating revolutionary nationalism of the Bulgarian Revival period. The study takes into consideration the indirect ideological impact of Giuseppe Mazzini over Vasil Levski, and follows up the unique application of the Mazzinist concepts of revolutionary nationalism in the specific Bulgarian conditions.

The present paper entitled “Exaltaions about Name: or, Two Contemporary Anthologies Dedicated to the Apostle and Beyond Them” comments the existence/non-existence of interest about the historical figure and life's work of Vasil Levski as a thematic field in Bulgarian poetry in the last few years. The observations, made on the basis of separate works of art, books and virtual sites, are a scientific attempt to outline the profile of current trends. These trends are combining aesthetic and socio-political attitudes towards the figure of the Bulgarian national hero.

The article at hand deals with projections of Vasil Levski’s image in the self-consciousness of Bessarabian Bulgarians. The resettlement to Bessarabia took place long before the formation of Bulgarian semiological system and significantly prior to the appearance of the Vasil Levski culturologem as its substantial construct. Even though historically the diaspora has come a long way full of assimilation threats with public education in Bulgarian only becoming possible by the end of 1980’s, and the cultural processes together with the interethnic environment being very different from those in the metropolis, still the ethnocultural coordinate system of the young generation of Bessarabian Bulgarians (revealed by means of a directed associative experiment) holds the image of Vasil Levski as a key culturologem for the Bulgarian segment of personosphere of the 10th generation of Bulgarian immigrants in Bessarabia.

The present paper presents the results of a qualitative scientific research based on the focus-group method. The concept of assertive communication are delimited from the perspective of the latest theories and arguments are made regarding the need for the integrated development of communication skills, self-affirmation and self-management in future student teachers. The research focuses on several essential dimensions of assertive communication, namely, initiating communication, self-esteem, defending one's rights, expressing positive and negative emotions. Its results provide us with clarifications regarding students' personal perspectives on building the teacher-student relationship, on the models provided and the skills acquired, on the concrete strategies of self-affirmation that they consciously use, on the approach to conflicts and situations. injustice, as well as on the techniques used in managing emotions in the context of teaching relationships. INNOVATION IN EDUCATION

The innovation process is a complex activity of creating, developing, using and disseminating modern or modernized innovations (theories, methods, technologies, etc.). This is the process of transforming scientific knowledge into innovation, the process of constantly transforming an idea into a product, technology or service. The goal of the innovative processes is the development of the school as a pedagogical system and special social organization, the achievement of qualitatively new higher educational results and the increase of the competitiveness of educational institutions. This process is motivated, intentional, conscious, aiming to transfer the education system to a new qualitative state, in a way of development. This article addresses the issue of innovation in education, which is a superior, primary product of pedagogical creativity, validated by its originality and confirmed relevance at the social level, at the scale of the educational system and process. The article carries out an analytical review of the field of educational innovation. The situation of innovation in the education system is evaluated, how much it means reform of the system and how much innovation, but also how innovation can be stimulated in the education system. Innovation in education encourages teachers and learners to explore, research and apply all tools to discover something new. Innovation is an essential component for many economic, social and technical fields, and education is no exception to this.

Наказателноправна уредба на шпионажа в Китай

The report examines the People's Republic of China's (PRC) new espionage legislation. Attention is paid to the Criminal Code of the PRC, but also to the new Counterespionage Law of 2023, which seriously strengthens the legal measures to protect the security of the PRC. Views are provided on the legal approaches used in China, as well as the degree of risk to foreign persons and entities wishing to conduct business services in that country or employ Chinese nationals in light of possible espionage charges. At the legislative level, measures have been introduced to hinder the activities of foreign intelligence services and to protect state secrets of the PRC, but this creates risks for the normal business activities of foreign companies in PRC.

Bulgaria occupies a strategic territory playing an important role in the formation of world politics. The challenges arising from this fact outweigh the advantages. Imperial interests intersecting on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, both now and in history, is forced to wage a constant struggle for independence and sovereignty. The post-socialist period allowed the emergence of organized crime, which subsequently grew into international organized criminal groups, the influence of which continues to grow to this day. The positions that the Republic of Bulgaria occupies in the international rankings related to economic indicators, corruption, demography, crime, etc., show that the society is experiencing enormous difficulties in the transition to a Parliamentary Republic and the building of democratic traditions.

The article elucidates the role and significance of NATO activity in the process of the global spread of English as the means of international communication. It highlights the methods and directions of the Alliance activities aimed at the establishment of the global importance of the use of English in the field of international relations. The article analyzes the organization of language training for the military personnel of the Alliance member countries. The author presents the NATO standards of foreign language proficiency STANAG 6001. The main problems of language training in the Armed Forces of the North Atlantic Alliance are listed in the article and the means of their solutions are analyzed. The programs and strategies of military language education are presented as well as the ways of their integration into existing courses of professional military education. The paper analyzes the importance of the Defence Education Enhancement Programme and its interoperability for the allies and partners.

In this paper, the effort is to provide a condensed overview of two distinct U.S. defense cooperation programs (FMF and FMS), each of which, however, has very different functions and purposes. In parallel, to present two different approaches to importing and acquiring U.S. defense products and services (FMS and DCS), and where there are opportunities for further combining and inter-mixing, to consider more elaborated hybrid multi-layered options. The aim is, in a most compact form, to make a comparison of three different tools that have gained international prominence as terms through their abbreviations (FMF, FMS and DCS), clearly outlining and distinguishing the essential differences by relevant features, but at the same time drawing out and highlighting the important complementarities and synergies between them.

In the context of the deteriorating and explosive security environment, an attempt is made to justify the usefulness of building an efficient system for civil defence, through which the stability of the population and the state can be guaranteed in crises and military-political conflicts. The tasks defined in the second Protocol additional to the Geneva conventions are examined and they are related to the specific responsibilities in the Republic of Bulgaria. This report examines data to assess the likelihood of a risk event occurring in cybersecurity systems in the Republic and around the world. Although the results are trends rather than exact representations of the total number of attacks, they provide valuable guidance for improving cybersecurity. The deep insights that are gleaned from analyzing the information can be unexpected, helping us see things in new ways or understand connections we hadn‘t noticed before. In the context of cybersecurity, this can help us prevent attacks and improve the protection of information systems.
