Eliminating the prejudice that “the art is greater than life”, Olga Bikić writes her novel “Milost oblaka” / “Mercy of Clouds” (published by Književna zajednica “Jovan Dučić”, Trebinje, 2007) with a direct and “fluent” narration. Her narration is free from redundant intellectual constructions and “wisdoms”. “Mercy of Clouds” is a family novel written as a retrospective lyrical testimony of the novel’s protagonist.

Collection of poems by Ratko Đogatović: “Darovi i prokletstvo” / “Gifts and Curse” (published by Zavod za udžbenike i nastavna sredstva, Istočno Sarajevo, 2007.), the author of eleven collections of poems, contains fifty-five poems divided into three cycles. Authentic lyrical manuscript of this author has fully matured in this collection. In the center of its poetical world is a poet who, in these dehumanized times, tries the limits and signification of his poetry, his own being and the world.

Review by Željko Grahovac on two itineraries by Ibrahim Kajan (“Tragom božijih poslanika” / “On the Path of God’s Prophets” and “Tragom bosanskih kraljeva” / “On the Path of Bosnian Kings”) presents basic substantial and literary, poetical elements of Kajan’s itinerary prose. Itinerary “On the Path of God’s Prophets” is a distinctive reconstruction of cultural and religious past of ancient civilizations in the area of south-east Turkey, called the Land of God’s Prophets. The other itinerary, “On the Path of Bosnian Kings”, depicts “the cultural and spiritual setting of medieval Bosnia”. Kajan’s itineraries are a travel through both space and time.

It illustrates Kajan’s nonconventional critic attitude enriched by poetic perception. The book “Grubići i Nježići” / “Rudes and Gentles” contains essays and a study on Croatian and Bosnian literature for children, especially novels for children, partially filling the gap in scientific reception of this important literary corpus.
