IMPLEMENTACIJA MEÐUNARODNIH ARHIVSKIH STANDARDA U INFORMACIONI SISTEM ARHIVA VOJVODINE (ISAV)

The development of new information technologies initiated the need for norm setting and standardization in the field of archival description. In contemporary society, it has become necessary to standardize the methods for making the description of archival materials, as well as formats for data exchange. Archival standards of the International Council on Archives (MAS): ISAD(G) – The international standard for archival description i ISAAR(CPF) – The international standard archival authority record for corporate bodies persons and families, ISDF – The international standard for describing functions i ISDIAH – The international standard for describing institutions with archival holdings that preserve archival materials used for the production of standardized means of information. Center for Information of Archives of Vojvodina designed a module for fund and collection processing within Information system of Archives of Vojvodina (ISAV) that supports thos standards for creaton of electronic information resources. In this module processes all funds and collections of Archives of Vojvodina that increase bases of available information resources day by day and will be soon available online to our customers.

ARHIVSKO ZAKONODAVSTVO KAO PREDUVJET ZA USPJEŠNO OBAVLJANJE ARHIVSKE DJELATNOSTI Primjer arhivskog zakonodavstva u Republici Sloveniji

This paper presents the development of archival legislation in the Republic Slovenia, a work especially looks at developments concerning the proposal to amend supplement archival law, relating to the question of the reorganization of state archive service and the question of access to archives. Proposed amendments presented in its original form is not submitted within the decision-making in Parliament, because it was necessary, to previously resolve the legal provisions relating to the question of access archives and protect sensitive archive material. Adoption of the proposed law in Parliament, led to a legislative referendum, which was held in 2011.

ISKUSTVO OBRADE NEKONVENCIONALNOGA GRADIVA U DRŽAVNOM ARHIVU U OSIJEKU

Although the State Archive in Osijek has almost all kinds of unconventional material, this work is based on only two, and these are the photographs and a documentary film. Due to the large number of images (approximately 55,000) and documentaries (114) as well as high demand for materials by the user and the Archive, at the end of 2007, the analytical processing of pictures and documentaries. Inventories are made in the form of a table with 11 elements of description through which describes most of the photos and all documentaries.

HRVATSKI ARHIVI I TRANZICIJA

Since the establishment of the sovereign Republic of Croatia and since the change of social and political system, archival activities and work of state archives have been influenced by various processes: transition, democratization, introduction of information technology, globalization, mod­ ernization of state administration, dissemination of nee­liberal economy, development of information society and many others. Archives have been faced with enormous quantities of archival records on which they were not specifically focused in the previous period, and also with issues concerning transfer, arranging use, ownership relations and other problems concerning that material. Expansion of the framework of activities, development of new services and adaptation of traditional tasks to market conditions and modern social trends, all additionally pointed out the old, so far unresolved problems and led to the appearance of new ones. This paper shows some of the fac­ tors considered prerequisites for the successful work of Croatian archives in the modern environment ­ unification and standardization of business pro­ cesses, fulfillment of supervising function in relation to the creators, develop­ ment of information role of the archive and implementation of a integrated national archival system.

MATRA – PROJEKT NIZOZEMSKE VLADE U HRVATSKOJ – SEGMENT ARHIVSKE SLUŽBE

MATRA Program is the bilateral pre-access technical assistance pro- gram of the Dutch government for pre-access aid for European collaboration and institutional support projects whose goal is the adoption and application of the legal legacy of the EU, only in terms of technical assistance. At this level, the Netherlands has approved two projects, one of them is a project of Administrative and management reform of Croatian archival service. This project took place in several distinct segments, divided into three main areas: legislative, institutional strengthening and professional archival services and pilot projects are the most important areas of archival services.The project was implemented in the period between 2007.-2009, and its purpose was to support the Ministry of Culture and archival services in the Republic of Croatia to ensure the adequacy of the structure and operation of business records service as a whole, adoption and implementation of policies and recommendations of the European Union, and ultimately achieving the competencies for collaboration and participation in European programs and projects.

ZNAČAJ SREĐENOSTI REGISTRATURSKE GRAĐE U JZU UKC TUZLA ZA USPJEŠNO POSLOVANJE

One of the most important and most extensive registry or creators records in the jurisdiction of the Archive of Tuzla Canton is Clinical Center Tuzla. This institution is paid great attention to the issue of office and archival operations and this area is arranged in accordance with the legislation. Special importance is devoted to the realization of human and civil rights, which is reflected in the character of arrangement current records (medical and other documentation) that occurs in the work of the institution, as well as areas of cooperation with customers. Therefore, it was necessary to create a regulated system, which included arranging of archival material and the regulation of office management so the needs of consumers can be satisfy. The organization of the office and archival operations within the institution is governed by a system of monitoring and information management, which is very important when using them. Today, the institution current records are properly arranged and creator carried out measures provided by low for recording, protecting and handling. Results in this area are clearly visible, because properly conditions for accommodation of material are created.

NOVI MEĐUNARODNI ARHIVISTIČKI STANDARDI OPISA (ISDF I ISDIAH)

The article gives a brief overview of the history development and the emergence of international standards of archival description, focusing on two new standards, officially adopted at XVI. Congress of the International Council on Archives: ISDF - The international standard for the description of the function of creators of material and ISDIAH - International standard for the description of institutions possess archival material. It also shows their relationship with two previously adopted standards: ISAD (G) and ISAAR (CPF), and connectivity options descriptions generated by their use.

PŘÍSTUPNOST VEŘEJNÝCH DOKUMENTŮ A OCHRANNÉ ARCHIVNÍ LHŮTY VE SPOJENÉM KRÁLOVSTVÍ. INSPIRACE PRO ČESKÉ ARCHIVNICTVÍ

The paper is focused on analysis of the specific topic of closure periods as these are applied to the public documents before making them accessible to general audience, based on the example of the United Kingdom since the end of WW II. It tries to prove that during the time it comes to gradual mitigation of the originally restrictive regime in the access to public documents and historical sources, not only in the United Kingdom. In the United Kingdom, there was a very long closure period in force since 1958 that made inaccessible materials of public provenience. Beginning in 1968, the cabinet of Harold Wilson reduced the period by almost a half from 50 to 30 years. This decision was influenced by the special advisory committee (Advisory Council on National Records and Archives), but also by the policy of the president of the USA John F. Kennedy. An important break in the regime of accessibility of public documents came with an adoption of act on free access to information in 2005 that newly regulated the issue of access to information. This act first stipulated a period for making public historical documents – regardless the place of preservation, either in archives or still in the administration – for 30 years that was reduced in 2010 to 20 years. This period is valid in the United Kingdom till today.

Bibliometric Overview of Current Trends in Maritime Transport: The Issue of a Special Interest in Delivery of a Consignment as a Tool to Achieve Sustainability of International Transport

The sustainability of international transport remains a critical topic of concern in both theory and practice. Ideally, scientific literature should align with practical needs, but such concurrence is not always present. This disparity is also evident in the specific issue of consignment delivery, which is currently of a great practical importance but lacks sufficient coverage in scientific literature. This paper aims to analyse current trends in maritime transport and their relevance to achieving global sustainability in international transportation. Additionally, it seeks to compare these findings with the practical needs and requirements of the industry, in order to provide constructive recommendations for further research. To accomplish this objective, a bibliometric analysis was conducted using scientific databases, including Web of Science and/or SCOPUS.

Kreowanie wizerunku medialnego sportowca w mediach społecznościowych. Analiza porównawcza profili Stephena Curry’ego i Lebrona Jamesa na Instagramie

The aim of the study was to assess the image created by athletes in social media on the example of Stephen Curry and Lebron James.The article uses the method of media analysis and the deductive method. The article begins with theoretical issues that are the basis for the analysis of the studied issue. The concepts of image, media image and personal brand were defined. The silhouettes and basketball careers of Stephen Curry and Lebron James were characterized. In order to assess the image created by athletes, a comparative analysis of Curry and James profiles on Instagram was used. The frequency of shared content and its types have been established. Then, the effectiveness of the activities carried out by both basketball players on the social networking site was assessed.The most important conclusion was that the content shared by the players positively affects their image. In the course of the research, it was established that Lebron James is an athlete who is more effective in building engagement with users of the social networking site Instagram.

Considerații privind sistematizarea arhivei din depozitele SJAN Harghita

The process of archive arrangement at Harghita County Archives followed the various controls of the Central Control Unit and their recommendations. At the same time, the necessity of the arrangement was given by the fact that numerous new fonds have entered the Archive and have been processed, resulting in their physical fragmentation in almost all repositories. The arrangement process took place in several stages: evaluation, creation of virtual repositories, creation of new repository registers. The whole process was a test for our professional experience due to the fact that we had no similar experience and no guidelines to follow.

HERBARIUM POMERANICUM JAKO PRZYKŁAD CYFRYZACJI W ŚRODOWISKU NAUKOWYM

Wobec współczesnych wyzwań humanistyki – pięćdziesiąty dziewiąty tom „Rocznika Przemyskiego. Historia”

The author presents the alterations the title periodical has faced in recent years. In an effort to meet the transformations Polish scientific journals have been undergoing, in 2016 the “Rocznik Przemyski” was turned into a publishing series with individual periodicals. An international board of editors was appointed, as well as a Scientific Council and a group of reviewers. “Rocznik Przemyski. Historia” has been listed in several international data bases and its electronic version is available at the Portal Czasopism Naukowych (Scientific Journals Online). Recent years have also seen three special issues of the journal. The author discusses the content of the current issue and explains why it is unusual.

Provenance as a bibliophilic value (case study)

The aim of the article was to verify the hypothesis that the provenance, which manifests itself at the antiquarian auctions in the form of bookplates, supralibros, stamps, written records etc., is an important element of attracting attention of book collectors, affects their purchasing decisions, and is measurable. To verify the validity of this assumption, an analysis was made of the assortment of one of the largest Polish scientific antiquarian bookstores – Cracow’s Rara Avis Antiquarian Bookshop. Empirical base formed a non-random trial research which considered 30 557 descriptions, that is approx. 41% of the whole assortment. The results of the analysis confirmed the established hypothesis, because the proportion of objects marked with provenance was high (averagely 31.2%) and stayed on the same level throughout the studied period (21.1%–44.2%). In the course of the analysis it was established that the test object type most often comes from private collections (82.4%), and the dominant categories of marks are: seals (36.7%), the signatures of ownership other than authorial (19.6%), notes of ownership (10.5%), ex-librises (9.8%) and authors dedications (8.7%); far fewer works contain the signatures of the authors (4%), dedications different than authorial (3.7%); the rarest ones are supralibros (only 1.7%).

Książka sportowa na polskim rynku wydawniczym w latach 1989–1995

The article describes the publishing market of sports books in years 1989–1995. The aim of the article was to answer the question, how this sports books publishing market looked like after the political changes in 1989, which publishing companies issued books related to sports, and what issues, topics and sports disciplines were described most often. Based on the content analysis of “Bibliographic Guide” from years 1989–1995, which is being kept up to date in bibliographic database of the National Library, the number of published books about sport was calculated. Research shows that in those years 583 positions were issued, of which 272 were issued by universities, 98 by state-owned publishing houses, 74 by publishing organizations, associations and sports clubs, and 139 by private publishing houses. The article also presents the subjects of the issued books about sports. They concerned mainly the theory of sports and humanities, medical and natural aspects of sport and physical culture, as well as different sports disciplines. From the thematic analysis it appears that most of the books related to football and the Olympic Games.

Bibliotheca Alexandrina – „czwarta piramida” – świetność z gruzów

The aim of this article is to take a double look at the Alexandrian Library – as the ancient storehouse of antiquity and as the new Alexandrina, which originated from the old one’s ruins. The introduction presents the reason why the decision of restoring and opening the new complex has been made. Part one makes us familiar with the brief history of the Alexandrian Library during the reign of succeeding rulers. It contains the reference to its director and other distinguished figures of the ancient world, connected with the library. Seeking the answer to the vital question: what led to the fall of this empire of knowledge and who contributed to this – is the issue touched in the next part. The end section goes back to the new library called „the fourth pyramide” and explains how and by whom it was built. There are also mentioned the financial and personnel problems concerning the new Alexandrina, as well as the attempts to look for help from outside. The fate of fire going round the library closes the article, which finally ends up with the fire metaphore.

Daugiaklasių duomenų klasifikavimo metodų tyrimas

The article analyzes the impact of the chosen method of model application on the classification of multi-label texts written in the Lithuanian language. The article presents a study of mult-label data classification methods in Lithuanian, which includes an analysis of the accuracy of the application of data classification methods for the automatic classification of multiclass texts written in Lithuanian. The classification methods, evaluation criteria, their applicability and the principles of data preparation for classification are reviewed. After preparing the text data for classification tasks, 44 combinations of classifiers were formed for the study and classification was performed using 3 different methods of multi-label data classification: category detection, category membership and category combination detection. The results obtained are compared in terms of time and classification accuracy, identifying the best performing classifiers and identifying the differences and advantages of the classification methods used.
