Summary/Abstract: Why is it important to preserve and capitalize on the heritage and how can we carry out these actions without affecting its character? These are questions whose answers would best characterize the way in which we have to analyze certain interventions that we intend to make on heritage, in this case on monuments. This study aims to expose the changes or degradations observed in the frescoes of some churches in southern Transylvania and, at the same time, a signal of what may be the result of lack of collaboration with specialists but also the consequences of conservation and restoration or empirical interventions which affects the integrity and identity of the monument
