Summary/Abstract: During the development stages the companies are forced to make choices in all sorts of conditions, restrictions, pressures and opportunities. One of the fundamental areas of strategic choices is to define the competitive advantage. From the perspective of the company’s ability to develop an essential skill is a constant search for answers to the question what the company does better than its competitors. The article attempts to analyze the sources, elements and methods of obtaining and maintaining competitive advantage on the example of Solaris Bus & Coach company.
