Summary/Abstract: Investment attractiveness largely determines the level of development and competitiveness of the various areas in national and international scale. The aim of the article is to analyze the investment attractiveness of the Wroclaw Agglomeration during the period 2009–2013 and identify its strengths and weaknesses based on the study desk-research. The conducted research indicates, that the following factors can be considered as particularly favorable for the development of province Lower Silesia: the highest level of economic infrastructure and the highest investment activity to investors in 2009–2013. In contrast, the following factors must be considered as adverse effects: the loss of advantage in terms of transport accessibility in 2009–2013 and the lowest level of public safety in Poland in 2013.
