Summary/Abstract: Games play an extremely important role in teaching reading, as they deepen and broaden the knowledge acquired during lessons, teach teamwork and develop activity. The aim of this study is to examine the role of didactic games in improving the reading skills of children in early primary classes on the basis of the opinions of teachers at several Polish schools in south-west London.
