Effect of the transformation of the modern family in terms of its sustainability

Summary/Abstract: Modern Family subordinate very fast transformations, which affects all aspects of its existence. The transformations have reached such intensity that many researchers interested in the subject of family define its situation as crisis. To this viewpoint lead them towards some important aspects of family functioning evidenced by its low stability. What is bothering in this context is the fact that the number of couples deciding on divorce, as a way to resolve ensuing problems is increasing. Searching for the causes of this phenomenon on the basis of axiology should be noted that they span to “deep” foundations functioning of the family, which are values functioning in nowadays world and also value systems of the spouses. “Deep” because they are often very little conscious on what they are “hidden” before a man who is not always aware of what is essential to its activities and aspirations. “Deep” also because they are fundamental to human life. In this context, conjugal life, including its durability, is largely dependent on the hierarchy of values preached by the spouses.
