Summary/Abstract: This research aims to reveal the influence of Anatolian civilizations in Özdemir Yemenicioğlu's works and how Kybele is interpreted with a contemporary understanding in the artist's works. Accompanying Kybele in the works of the artist; It is aimed to describe and interpret the symbols of pomegranate, bee, bull and tree in terms of meaning. In the research, work analysis and literature review method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. In the context of the findings obtained in the research, it is stated that the main figure in Özdemir Yemenicioğlu's works is the Mother Goddess Kybele and that Kybele contains with the pomegranate, bull, bee and tree figures in the works; It was concluded that the meanings such as fertility, reproduction and life were strengthened. The pomegranate figure, which is the symbol of abundance and prosperity, reinforces Kybele's fertility and highlights its reproduction feature. The bull figure, which is the symbol of power, which is another element that completes reproduction, reflects the life-giving power of the mother goddess. The bee figure accompanying Kybele supports the hard work of the mother goddess. The tree figure, on the other hand, strengthens the life phenomenon of Kybele in the artist's works by referring to the tree of life. The artist, who is in a constant technical research in his works; It created relief effects on the surface it created with different materials such as paper, fabric, sacks, tulle, and clothes. In addition, it has been revealed that the artist, who is seen to have formal concerns in his works, creates monumental forms by using the Tshaped obelisks of Göbekli Tepe. As a result, it is seen that Yemenicioğlu adds innovative techniques and forms brought by contemporary art to his traditionalist aspect, which is fed by Anatolian civilizations..
