Effective Leadership Communication in Crisis Management – In Search of a Complex Model with a Focus on the Future

Summary/Abstract: Each crisis leads to high levels of stress, anxiety and reduced motivation. This requires a rethink of established leadership models built on traditional forms of communication. In such a context, the role of leadership is key. The crisis aspect of a protracted and unpredictable pandemic, a thechonologized and globalized society and business, the hybridity of change are a strong influence on management processes. The topic is wide-ranging, but the leading focus of the study is the establishment of a dialogueal, motivated and constructive leadership in the lives of organizations with a leading role in new forms of internal communication and in turn a new type of leadership in dealing with crises.
