Summary/Abstract: The article presents a situational analysis of geographic training of countries by criteria of a structure-content framework for high school education. The analysis is based on curricula and includes 11 Balkan countries. The structure and content is a reflection of specific methodic-didactical and pedagogical models, consequence and projection of the curricula and learning plans. The analysis covers countries with geopolitical, spatial, regional, historical and social interdependence in time and space at different levels – Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey, Croatia and Montenegro.
