Summary/Abstract: The paper investigates the didactic approaches to the textbook material regarding the geography of China in the junior secondary education stage of the basic education level. It researches, and presents the modern didactic ideas, content models and ways of studying China as a country, a typical representative for studying a normative document in the 6th grade of the Bulgarian school.
