On some aspects of lecturer-student interaction in terms of university education: problems and trends

Summary/Abstract: The higher education system training specialists in the different professional fields implies the availability of tools to ensure the development of skills. One of the most significant factors related to it is the lecturer-student interaction. The formation of the values system of the students is affected by this interaction. The article examines some issues related to this phenomenon, such as the vision of the modern university lecturer, his/her personal and professional qualities, teaching and communication style. Students' opinion on these issues has been illustrated. Some risks of the lecturer-student interaction are also considered. Possible ways of resolving such situations are suggested.
