Summary/Abstract: The article explores approaches (views) of Slavic researchers for the use of communicative strategies and tactics in the contemporary medical discourse. Their common features and differences are determined. The phenomena analyzed reveal opportunities for the optimization of professional speech in Bulgarian, Ukrainian and Russian, having an important practical orientation in communication in the field of healthcare.
