Summary/Abstract: The paper is focused on importance of marketing plan and marketing of human resources. Marketing planning is the process used to identify marketing opportunities, resources, determining marketing objectives and develop a program to implement and control all marketing activities. From the studies and observations made at the beginning of 2009, in Maramures County, one may observe that the number of small and medium-sized enterprises in Maramures county that have drawn and are utilizing, a plan in marketing activity, including: marketing objectives, product and market characteristics, SWOT analysis, marketing strategies, marketing budget and the control and evaluation, is insufficient, being less than a half of the total number of that category of enterprises.
