Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the evaluation and the control activities in marketing. The paper is focused on analysis of marketing budget and also in marketing human resources. The research was based on a questionnaire and was conducted on a sample of 205 small and medium enterprises, from Maramures county. The results of the study are: only 44,39% small and medium enterprises from Maramures county have a marketing budget at the beginning of 2009 and only 40,49% have qualified marketing human resources.
