Kogălniceanu, the traditionalist

Summary/Abstract: The present article aims at pointing out an aspect that is regularly neglected when discussing the political thought of Mihail Kogălniceanu, one of the most important Romanian liberals. Despite his well-known liberal beliefs, Kogălniceanu can also be considered a traditional political thinker: some of his works, which we describe and analyse here, were wrote from a traditional, almost conservative, point of view.
