Summary/Abstract: The understanding of theoretical approaches associated with public organization and its management elements which are different from a financial point of view can be achieved only if it provides a clarification of the concepts that are related to public concept. Demarcations are necessary to create a discussion basis with management and economic identity. Thus, there is a distinction to public management, which is a different concept, but similar in popularity among study subjects. Economic and managerial perspective forces to the selection of a number of concepts that are associated with the public concept adapted to the organization (public good, public company, public sector, public management). Each of these should be explained briefly, even if the basic concept of “public” may be subject of interpretation and dispute. It is natural that the definition of other concepts can generate a variety of interpretations, it is preferred succinct definition, although thus eliminates certain details which, from another perspective, would seem important.
