Summary/Abstract: The results of research conducted in 61 high-tech enterprises are discussed in this paper. The growth strategy identification of these enterprises was the aim of the research. The obtained results show that high-tech companies aspire to the technological and innovative leadership, creating new technologies supported by own R&D base and using also external sources of gaining technology, applying mainly personalization as the approach of knowledge management. They also use various paths of the development of product and market, depending on the opportunities which are created by the environment.
