Summary/Abstract: The paper shows that organizational learning, by which the creation, organization, dissemination and use of knowledge are understood, is an attribute of high-tech companies. Based on research conducted by the monographic method in 61 high-tech companies, it was found that the larger the company and the higher expenditure on R&D, the higher the assessed level of organizational learning. In addition, there were found the significant correlations between organizational learning, and other important attributes of high-tech companies, such as: innovation, absorptive information, autonomy of employees, communication supported by advanced information technology and flexible strategy. Therefore organizational learning is an important feature of technology advanced, innovative, and knowledge-based companies, which belong to high-tech sector.
