Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the issue of knowledge management in small companies in the context of opportunities to achieve success. The study was conducted using the method of case studies with the use of diagnostic tool, such as knowledge management audit. The study was conducted in three small, innovative companies. Knowledge management audit results show that the companies which work better in the knowledge management area have a better economic and market situation.
