The management system based on ISO 9001 requirements in companies growing by direction – the factor for growth accelerating or slowing down?

Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the topic of ISO 9001 quality management system implementation in companies that begin this process in the phase of growth by direction. Based on empirical research, the areas of ISO 9001 requirements, which are used to build suitable and valuable solutions regardless of the certification of the system, have been identified. On the other hand, there are requirements which are perceived as less useful. The functioning of solutions based on such requirements depends on the fact if the quality management system is maintained as certified or not.
