Support for ecological farms in Poland in 2004-2013 and in the perspective of 2014-2020

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyse different methods of support of Polish ecological farming in 2004-2013 as well as to identify possibilities of the above mentioned support in the years 2014-2020. During the research attention was paid to the fact that it is necessary to stress potential risks for further development of the ecological farms in Poland. These risks are coming from changes in the Rural Development Programme and are related to the size of farms. This has significant influence on the acceptance or rejection of the financial support. To make a follow up on the subject, the author analysed a lot of information materials from other institutions. The study also covered the analysis of the available domestic and foreign scientific literature as well as the one related to the support of the ecological farming in 2004-2020.
