Analysis of activities of Local Action Groups (LAGs) that support sustainable development: (on example of West Pomeranian region)

Summary/Abstract: The paper covers the attempt to estimate the size of active participation of society in achieving the objective of sustainable development. The research contains analysis of activities of the West Pomeranian Local Action Groups in area of economy, environ-ment, society, industry and politics. These activities were done in years of 2004-2014. The research was supported by local and international scientific bibliography as well as empiric data related to all activities of LAGs in region of West Pomeranian.
