Summary/Abstract: The Romanian Carpathians were a priority of research in geological and physical-geographical, not less than that of human geography. Researches the guidelines of the last decades on regional development require of depth knowledge in this field. This article, based on a detailed analysis of the sources provided by the Romanian census results reflect the significant aspects of the degree of humanization of space Romanian Carpathians, the characteristics of the demographic, ethnic homogeneity the elements Romanian of performance.
