Summary/Abstract: Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWF) are government-owned investment funds, set up for a variety of macroeconomic purposes. SWFs are becoming increasingly important in the international monetary and financial system. The purpose of this article is to present the most important aspects of SWFs transparency. For the article reports and research published by The Monetary Investment Fund, The Monitor Group Company and The Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute were analyzed.
