Freelancing - implications for human capital management

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to answer the questions: How is freelancing understood today? and What consequences may result from the development of freelancing for human capital management? To achieve this objective there were used the study of publications and reports, mainly resources available on the Internet. In addition there was a review of statements posted on Internet sites, discussion forums and blogs for freelancers, among other things, such as: freelancity.pl, Elance.com, freelancer.com, freelancer.org.pl. The study was “qualitative” and it was conducted to determine the state of knowledge which was interesting for the author and to formulate guidelines for future research.
