Selected aspects of innovativeness improvement in the opinion of the inhabitants of Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodeships

Summary/Abstract: Innovativeness of a region is an important development factor that supports the improvement of the economy and standard of life of region’s inhabitants. The results of the European innovation scoreboards show that most Polish voivodeships are characterized by the weakest innovativeness among the EU regions. The article presents the results of questionnaire research conducted among the inhabitants of two Polish voivodeships on their understanding of the innovativeness, identification of its influence on development processes in a region and subjects and action important for its improvement. It is a study on attitudes towards innovation implementation of the employees of enterprises, public bodies and other organizations.
