Summary/Abstract: The author outlines a new perspective on organizational politicking research, that is organizational archetypes. Theoretical systematic review results in distinguishing four main contracts: planning, learning, improvisational, and entrepreneurial ideal types. They may create different organizational configuration leading to strategic high performance.
