Pastoral counseling of young people with alcohol addiction

Summary/Abstract: Christianity offers youth a whole new perspective on world and life, where they can find everything that can satisfy their thirst for ideal and action, dream and sacrifice, heroism and legend. We conducted this research at St. Peter and Paul Church from Oradea, during the program of the Sunday school for the young people. We aimed to highlight the crucial role of the cooperation between church and specialized persons in order to help those who were hospitalized for alcohol addiction and who followed a psychiatric treatment to avoid the relapse.
