The following research hypothesis was put forward: the implementation of categorization systems results in weakening negative consequences and reducing information asymmetry on hospitality services market on the purchaser’s side. The main research methods used were: subject literature critical analysis, query of legal acts and other source documents as well as case study. As a result of conducted research the presented hypothesis should be rejected since the existing systemic diversity leads to information chaos.
