Summary/Abstract: V. Selenis reviewed and evaluated Alfonsas Eidintas‘ collection of articles „History as Politics: a Review of the Development of Events”, which was published in 2008. The reviewer emphasized that this collection, covering the period of the Restoration of Independence (1987-1993), consists of various polemic historical articles and is based on a variety of genres from science studies to recently published historical novels. The reviewer also hopes that this publication will encourage PhD students, political science analysts, history lecturers and teachers as well as the younger generation to take interest in this turning period of Lithuania’s history and its investigation.
