Summary/Abstract: The fundamental task of evaluating the achievement in the teaching activities is the systematic raising of the level and quality of instruction. Through the evaluation of the achievement of students, their progress is determined in relation to their abilities and possibilities. It is determined by means of a system of monitoring (through a constant insight into the course of the instruction), testing (by gathering documents about the realization of the task of instruction), measuring (objective assessment of the results of instruction), appraising and grading (determining student’s achievement on the value scale) of teaching activities of students and teachers in the social and natural science instruction.
