CRISIS PREVENTION AT THE ORGANIZATION LEVEL

Summary/Abstract: Crisis may occur in any organization. By raising awareness of this reality, managers and all staff will understand the importance of correct treatment of such cases. In normality periods the company’s management must create an action plan for the crisis, must determine measures to prevent, manage and resolve crises quickly, avoiding the crisis extension or reduce the effects that they may have inside the organization. An essential role in the prevention of organizational crisis has the manager’s knowledge on the theory of institutional crisis and the use of knowledge in implementing a dynamic management, with appropriate objectives of the socio-economic context. Regardless of field of activity, size, structure or maturity of an organization it needs to establish a framework for proper management to be successful.
