Summary/Abstract: Actual differences in approaches, structuring and designing of “Bologna” study programmes (educational curricula and syllabuses) within Sarajevo University itself put serious question mark related to appropriateness of respective programme designs in terms of their recognition not only within higher education in Europe, but even within a country. Having in mind that study programmes are chief focal points for accreditation, it is quite questionable whether majority of them will be recognized and accredited internationally or not. In order to explore the probability of our programmes recognition and accreditation we used the comparison between actual programmes developed by institutions belonging to so called “medical group” and tree potentially rational comparative standards, namely tuning of European programmes structure, benchmarking and accreditation algorithms or guidelines.
