Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the Old Bulgarian codex Savina kniga. On the basis of palaeographic, orthographic and linguistic peculiarities of the manuscript it is proposed that the Old Bulgarian codex was written in the 10th century in North-east Bulgaria and that part of it includes a Gospel text revised in Pliska-Preslav during the Golden age of Bulgarian literature and culture.
