Revised Methodian Translation of Liber Iob in the Manuscript F.I.461 of the Russian National Library in Saint-Petersburg

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with Liber lob in the Middle Bulgarian manuscript F.I.461 of the Russian National Library in St Petersburg. A comparison between Liber lob in the Middle Bulgarian Cyrillic book F.I.461 and the Croatian Glagolitic Vienna breviarium of 1396 is made. The study reveals that the two manuscripts contain the Methodian translation of Liber lob. The Middle Bulgarian text has also preserved linguistic peculiarities of the revision of the liturgical books made by the Preslav men of letters during the golden age of Bulgarian literature and culture.
