Summary/Abstract: The palaeographic peculiarities of the Book of Job in manuscript F.I.461 of the Russian National Library in Saint-Petersburg show connection with some codices from the monasteries of Mount Athos, on the one hand, and with some books written by the men of letters from Tirnovo, on the other hand. A comparison between some orthographic features in Liber Iob from F.I.461 and the Glagolitic manuscripts Codex Clozianus, Psalterium Sinaiticum and the Kiev Missal is made. A conclusion is drawn that the orthography ofm such Greek codices, as the illuminated Khiudov Psalter (No 129д) of the ninth century of the History Museum in Moscow, has exercised influence on the Old Bulgarian and Middle Bulgarian men of letters.
