Summary/Abstract: The paper looks at selected issues related to air pollution in Poland. The author introduces main statistics on air pollution in Poland. Next, he presents air pollutants and its sources, as well as economic and health effects. Next, reduction efforts and regulations are discussed, with particlar attention given to so-alled Anti-Smog Act, which grants the Polish local governments legal instrument to reduce some emissions.
