Summary/Abstract: An innovative way of evaluating the accuracy of student-acquired theoretical notions from the first year Mathematics course of Politehnica University forms the core of our present paper. Taking advantage of Android capabilities for tablets and phones, we have built a platform game which might captivate students in testing their knowledge concerning linear systems of differential equations. The game itself is based on a fantastic story and it features a well defined mission, while mathematics are also part of the game being subtlety embedded as unexpected surprise challenges in the game levels.
