Summary/Abstract: The study proposes intself to examine the stipulations of sanitary laws from 1910 and 1930, respectively, because they defined Romania's sanitary policy in the interwar period. Both are modern laws which grant a greater importance to preventive medicine compared to curative medicine dealing with the achivent organizational structures. For the law of 1930, the intertwining between medical and social assistance becomes its main feature. The study tackles some financial aspects of sanitary organization as well as the relationships with the higher authority.
