Summary/Abstract: In this study I wish to highlight the opinion of St. Gregory the Theologian on the providential action of God, in which He respects the possibility of humans to express themselves freely. I will highlight the way in which St. Gregory of Nazianzus describes God as the author and creator of the world, which dismantles the so-called "astrological myth." Then I will present the pedagogy of God manifested in the Incarnation of the Son, continuing with the doctrine of divine foreknowledge. I will also demonstrate how running from God becomes running toward him, a sign of His ordinance, concluding with some reflections on the idea of prophecy and with combating the idea of destiny.
