Summary/Abstract: In the hereby study I shall present the Orthodox doctrine related to theholy grace, as it is reflected in the theology of Saint Cyril of Jerusalem. I shallhighlight the fact that God’s grace represents a breeze of the Holy Ghost’sgood scent, needing an opening of the man in order to acquire its redemption. Also, I shall present the way in which Saint Cyril describes the work of theHoly Ghost within the spiritual life of the human person. In conclusion, I shallemphasize the idea that the Holy Ghost’s grace is present among us sinceBaptism, waiting our cooperation with him, because “the bath of holiness”,even though it cleans the sin, it does not cancel our freedom of will, ourpossibility to choose between right or wrong, and to collaborate with God ornot
