Summary/Abstract: Paper analyzes some beautiful, abundant and significant decorative ensembles, which belong to different Albanian ethnogeographical provinces and which deal mainly with the age and status of bride and young woman. The décor of brides and young women, except abundance of elements is also distinguished by the way it is held, the way it is worked, by its ergology – respectively peculiar morphology and for its naming, as well as the functions it has and the messages it transmits to others. The accessorial décor has artistic structure and esthetic expression, has its language, which needs to be decoded very carefully. Generally analyzed, the décor of each costume creates observable views from most comprised to magnificent ones, which hold within the culture of carriers and of their environment, and at the other hand always speak of a given time, space and society. In this field is shown a great morphological abundance. The shapes of decorating parts are most different, and materials from which ornaments and adornments were made are also very different. They could have been made from animal bones and teeth, shells, stones, wood or metals, or simply from fibers of different background, always depending on time and environmental ecological, social and economic circumstances. Ornaments, adornments or the décor were carried in certain body parts or as a part of the certain costume attire. It is also known historically that some ornaments have reached the high level of commoditization and became competitive in free and open market, whilst a part of décor and ornaments do always gain in their life biography same as humans and reach the careful conservation and sacralization.
