Summary/Abstract: The paper propounds a different approach to the rises, respectively Abanian rise of 1911. The rise and the revolted are seen in the prism of broad social-ethnocultural contexts and on this setting is analyzed precisely the functioning and consuming of ethnoculture, notwithstanding in the war. Ethnocultural elements appear very clearly, very consistent and quite naturally are intertwined and inter-complemented in historical events. It is claimed that emotionally these elements rise patriotic and national feelings, but that also always mobilize population. Communication, reflection and functioning of ethnocultural elements appear always closely related with culture and national sole from which originate and to which belong, and as such they should be treated and understood. Inclusion of different Albanian cultural elements within the rise itself, where is clearly reflected an ethnology-cultural anthropology of respective place, appears to be quite broad but also with particular meanings. Cultural ethno elements such as: naming of ethnographical province, naming of inhabitants in the province, emphatic religious tolerance, phenomena and the elements of the Albanian unwritten or custom law, functioning of these phenomena in the society and the war, clothes of the warriors, the trust between the leader and the warriors, participation and wisdom of women in war, as well as the respect of men toward women are only some of the components in ethnocultural setting propounded in this paper carefully and anthropologically observed in the frame of new theories propounded by anthropology.
