Summary/Abstract: This is, in short, the main argument for launching IJHI’s 11th issue, built-up as double-sided version (or combination) of the non-Western world: one caught between “historicism” and “futurism”. None of the contributors were egger to say precisely what and how it is this world, but all of them were happy to offer glimpses, or working in progress definitions of a comprehensible otherness.
