Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to determine the influence of two selected factors on the value of gross domestic product per capita in voivodships of Poland. The following factors affecting the level of GDP per inhabitant were analysed: the productivity of labour and the proportion of people who work. The logarithmic method was used to assess the impact of deviations of those factors on the deviation of GDP per person. The logarithmic method allowed to answer the question, how – in the sixteen voivodships – individual factors affect the analysed variable, namely, what the direction and strength of their influence are. The mean values referring to Poland as a whole were compared with the results obtained for each of the voivodships and final conclusions were drawn on those grounds.
