STUDY ON THE COUNSELING AND ORIENTATION OF STUDENTS FROM THE POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF BUCHAREST FOR THE TEACHING PROFESSION

Summary/Abstract: Career counseling is an extremely demanding and current issue of education sciences that focuses not only on pursuing a career path by a subject in terms of personality but also by socioeconomic conditions and offerings, but especially focuses on maturing the individual in the professional field chosen in order to achieve the performance and the achievement of the specific professional standards. In higher education, the need for counseling presents a reality, but also a necessity. I think a strategy to promote higher education counseling services will have the desired effect if we have the target population (students) at the heart of our concerns.
